World Medical Education platform to be unveiled

The World Medical Education Learning Platform, bringing high quality multimedia education to health workers worldwide, will be ready for launch in the next few weeks. The first topics available on the site will be ENT, Ophthalmology and Minor Injuries in Emergency Medicine. Users will be able to access the platform online using their computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone.

Professor Chris O’Callaghan, director of World Medical Education, said “Multimedia education has the capacity to transform health education worldwide. We aim to bring high quality training to all health workers, regardless of where they work.”

Learners will be able to register to receive open-access teaching and training and join our learner community.  The platform will also provide links to other learning and training opportunities.
